City As Muse is finally here. Our inaugural print issue is a testament to what happens when a community of creative thinkers, civic voices, and bold storytellers come together around a shared belief in the power of place. With more than 50 contributors and 31 advertisers across every section of this issue — arts & culture, style & living, city & place, events & causes, market & commerce and community & leadership — this is San Antonio telling its own story, on its own terms. To every contributor and advertising partner who helped bring these pages to life: this milestone is yours as much as ours.

Pg. 64: Creative Capital, photography by Ricardo Gutierrez; Fashion Styling by Patrick J. Martinez; Model: M at R Models; Hair by Damian Gonzalez of LOOK, Makeup by Olivia Villa of Liv Beautified; Gown, Don Nico, available at Sloan/Hall. Set design by Ricardo Gutierrez and Mark McAshan.
One year ago, we launched Voice of San Antonio digitally with a belief that San Antonio deserved a publication equal to its moment. What has followed has humbled and inspired us — the readers who found us, the storytellers who trusted us, and the partners who invested in this vision before the possibility of print pages were a reality. Print is the next chapter in a story we are honored to tell alongside all of you. Flip through the issue by clicking the button below, share it with someone who loves this city, and know that we are just getting started on our mission to show that what’s made in San Antonio has always been meant for the world.

Pg. 30: Art For All, photography by Jana Cantua; Fashion Styling by Patrick J. Martinez; Model: Sabrina De La Rosa; Hair and Makeup by Kimberly Mendez of Twirl Salon; Top and Skirt, Sonsuz by Angelina Mata, Shoes, Eileen Shields, available at Sloan/Hall.
